C++ Math lround()

This function is used to round off the given value and cast to long integer.

Syntax

Suppose a number is ‘x’. Syntax would be:

Parameter

x: The value which can be either float or double.

Return value

It returns the rounded value of x. The return type of the function is long int.

Let’s see a simple example of using lround() function

Output:

The value of x is : 2.3  The value of y is : -12.6  The value of z is : 23.6  Rounded value of x is : 2  Rounded value of y is : -13  Rounded value of z is : 24
