Boiling an egg may seem quite easy but it takes time to boil. Boiled eggs are full of nutrients and very delicious snacks. Whether you want soft boiled eggs or hard-boiled eggs, it is a very simple process, read on the given tutorial to learn how to boil eggs.

Method 1

Soft boiled eggs

Pour water into a container:

Keep the eggs in a large saucepan. Fill the saucepan with more water so that the eggs are covered by about an inch, afterward add one tablespoon salt. After now, set it on the heater over high temperature. Once the water gets boiled, slow down the temperature.

Hard-boiled eggs

Keep up to 8 eggs in a large saucepan:

Before starting the egg boiling procedure, ensure to use a large container/saucepan and deep enough to keep all eggs in one layer (eggs don’t overlap one another) with some space for them to move.

Note: Use older eggs in your refrigerator for more than a week because older eggs have less moisture content and higher pH value making their shells simpler to flake off when you are ready to eat.

Cover the eggs with at least 1 inches of water:

Once you put the eggs in a saucepan, you need to keep the pan in the sink and fill it with normal water until the eggs get covered by about 1- 2 inches of water.
