The Node.js applications generally face four types of errors:

  • Standard JavaScript errors i.e. <EvalError>, <SyntaxError>, <RangeError>, <ReferenceError>, <TypeError>, <URIError> etc.
  • System errors
  • User-specified errors
  • Assertion errors
